BHP Billiton Petroleum (North West Shelf) Pty Ltd
BHP Billiton is a significant oil and gas exploration and production business and is the world’s largest
diversified natural resources company, with approximately 41,000 employees working in more than 100 locations
in 25 countries across the world.
The company has major producing assets in Australia, Algeria, Pakistan, Trinidad and Tobago,
United Kingdom and the United States, marketing crude oil, condensate, liquefied petroleum gases,
natural gas and liquefied natural gas to customers worldwide.
BP Developments Australia Pty Ltd
BP is one of the world's largest energy companies, providing its customers with fuel for transportation,
energy for heat and light, retail services and petrochemicals products for everyday items.
In Australia, BP is engaged in the exploration for and production of oil, natural gas and
liquefied natural gas, and the refining, transportation and marketing of petroleum and lubricant products.
Chevron Australia Pty Ltd
Chevron is one of the world’s largest integrated energy companies, conducting business in more than
100 countries with a diverse workforce consisting of more than 59,000 employees.
With an Australian presence spanning more than 50 years, Chevron is a significant investor in offshore
north-western Australia exploration, one of its four global focus areas. The company leads the development
of the Gorgon Project, the wholly owned Wheatstone Project, operates the Barrow Island and Thevenard Island
oil fields, and is also a participant in the Browse LNG development.
Japan Australia LNG (MIMI) Pty Ltd
Known colloquially as "MIMI", Japan Australia LNG is an Australian-resident company owned
equally by the long-established and well respected Japanese trading houses
Mitsubishi Corporation and
Mitsui & Co., Ltd. MIMI was
established by these two houses in 1985 to manage principally their one-sixth
interest in the North West Shelf LNG Project.
Shell Development (Australia) Pty Ltd
Shell is a major global energy organisation which has had a presence in Australia since 1901.
Shell’s upstream business in Australia is developing large gas resources and the company maintains
a substantial exploration portfolio in Western Australia, the Northern Territory and Queensland.
Woodside Energy Ltd
